We got seated inside right away--perfect timing as the place quickly filled up! Our server was attentive despite the rush. I tried their turkey sandwich (deli-style, not roasted) but the real star was the off-menu avocado burger. Though cooked medium-well instead of medium-rare, it was juicy and flavorful. The crispy tots were perfect! My only regret? Not photographing that gorgeous burger--it tasted as amazing as it looked! Verdict: Definitely returning to explore more menu items. Fast, tasty, and lives up to the hype!

Decent food, decent service. We thought this was a fancier restaurant as it turned it it was a nice place to get a good home cooked meal. Not for special occasions but definitely able to provide a good hot meal

Love little hole-in-the walls like this little cafe tucked in a former gas station with a convenience store and a shop that sells merch. Visited early evening and grabbed a table in the back. Service was really warm! Shared the nachos and had the turkey melt with fries. Everything was delicious! I'd return again and maybe save room for ice cream at Petersen's next door!

As you can see I was last here in November. I returned here for dinner twice in December, which I will summarize here. We first arrived here on the Saturday around 5 pm prior to Christmas with my family of five. The place was packed with customers. We therefore ordered take out. Our take out order was $98 excluding gratuity. When our take out order was available I noticed a six seating high top became available therefore we asked if we could eat our take out food at that high top. They agreed. I started with my Santa Clausmopolitan cocktail with Mularkey vodka, triple sec, lime juice, white cranberry juice, rimmed with red sugar and cranberries for $14. I enjoyed my chicken and sausage gumbo for $19 as usual. I ended my dinner with my draft Guinness for $9.50. My total bill for our two rounds of cocktails was $103 excluding gratuity. My total bill for our dinner including the $103 was $201 excluding gratuity. I just flew into Reagan DCA airport from Chicago ORD. My family of four returned here on the Friday after Christmas after 7 pm. They arranged two tables together for us within five minutes. This time I started with my Jim Beam Manhattan up for $11. I again enjoyed my usual gumbo for $19. Gumbo was a special during December. I love their gumbo. I again ended my dinner with my draft Guinness for $9.50. My total bill was $132 excluding gratuity. Katie A. served us very well. We all agreed we will continue to return here in 2025.

Was craving French onion soup and this place did not disappoint! My three boys each got burgers and all said they were amazing. Cute atmosphere, good and friendly service, and the drinks were tasty. We might have a new Sunday tradition!

We came here on Saturday night. It was full but they told us that we could go outside to the patio. It was cold but there was a large live fire. Also the server gave us blankets. The service was a little slow but they were also crowded. The workers were nice and friendly. Our food was delicious. We ordered breaded pickles appetizer. We ordered avocado bacon burger, Mac and cheese burger, and Main Street burger. It was all very good. They had good Christmas decorations and nice Christmas music playing. I highly recommend coming here. It was good. Maybe next sit inside...

Main Street Pub is a solid place to grab a meal whether it's for a weekend brunch or a weekday lunch. I have eaten in a few times and the service is great. Yesterday, we ordered take out chicken tenders, French dip, mac and cheese and chicken tender wrap. Everything was tasty and well prepared.

Everything a small town pub ought to be! Lively, inviting, and great food! I tried one of their burgers with bbq and bacon on it and it was so good! Great fresh sweet tea and the most kind staff! Definitely would return!

The Main Street Pub is in a charming green building by the railroad tracks in downtown Clifton. For years the building used to house the Clifton Store, where I bought candy when I could sneak away from home. Today, there is an adorable little pub in the building serving upscale sandwiches and beverages. There are a dozen or so tables and two more outside the front door. We were seated quickly by Katie, who was also our server. A Crabcakes sandwich was one of the July specials, made with fresh lump crab cake. The sandwich was served with lettuce, tomato and an aioli sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The beer battered fries were also wonderful and crispy. I had a cup of the Gazpacho soup, which was refreshing and delicious on a hot summer day. The food is a hit in my book. Katie was attentive and friendly. There is limited street parking and some on the side of the building. I think you could sit outside with a dog. I recommend highly if you're in the area.

The Main Street Pub offers a warm, friendly atmosphere with good food and service. The food is fairly common bar fare, nicely prepared and presented. There are monthly and seasonal items and great winter cocktails.
